WHO AM I?
My Name is Christina Hibbert and I'm an international Hypnotherapist with a focus on trauma, stress, and anxiety. I work with clients all around the globe and offer my services in German and English language.
When I came across hypnotherapy 12 years ago, I was in a very dark place. Depression and anxiety controlled my daily life. I had tried all sorts of therapy and medication but nothing seemed to really help me.
I discovered hypnotherapy by accident as I searched online for help and I have to admit that I was very skeptical at first. My perception of hypnosis was brand-marked from TV and movies.
I gave it a shot, only because it seemed the last straw I could grab.

Today, I firmly believe that hypnosis saved my life.

I became a believer and an advocate for this powerful form of therapy. I have practiced self-hypnosis ever since and ultimately made hypnotherapy my profession.
I live in Barcelona, Spain together with my family and I live a wonderful life that wouldn't have been possible without hypnosis.
WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?
Hypnosis is a trance-like mental state in which people experience increased
attention, concentration, and suggestibility.
While hypnosis is often described as a sleep-like state, it does indeed quite the opposite- it wakes you up!

It is a state of pure focused attention, heightened suggestibility, and vivid imagination. We are all experiencing an hypnotic state daily. Every time we work on autopilot, when we drive to work and wonder how we got there. Or when we are fully focused on an exciting movie.
It is very easy and very natural to be in that daydreaming state and
therefore we are highly receptive to this form of therapy.

The subconscious mind, where all our memories, emotions and automated behaviors are stored, doesn't speak in regular words. It speaks in colors and algorithms.
Often we can't express in words what problems we have because we don't know it ourselves.
That's why traditional forms of psychotherapy often arent as successful even after years of treatment.
The beauty about hypnosis is that it connects with the subconscious mind
and can access the origin of our issues, without the need of putting it into words.
